Rewrite overhaul 🔥
Starting a rewrite as of today, mainly aiming for an async lightweight system with integrated voice. Any help or suggestion, mostly about possible structure tweaks, is welcome.
If you feel like collaborating, you might also want to consider contacting me directly.
Is this rewrite going to happen on an existing branch or are you going to add a rewrite branch?
Adding a new branch soon. Currently trying to get round threading issues.
This rewrite is near completion - currently awaiting for access to gateway's v6 documentation so I can tweak. Issues #7 and #9 plus requests #15 and #16 are satisfied and included.
I will shortly be adding a new branch and updating current documentation to comply changes.
I'm curious; why is there only one commit? Do you overwrite the initial commit every time you make a change?
@satom99 Are you still interested in working on this? Do you want pull requests? What's the current status of the rewrite? Sorry for bugging you if you'd rather forget about this project, but I'm interested in a pure (only Lua and C modules) Lua Discord bot and this seems to almost work.
Just hit you up on Discord. litcord has been discontinued for quite a while now and thus is not to be used at its current state. Albeit we may go on and have a look on carrying out a new rewrite - as the current code is pretty much unusable.
I am looking for a library that would be able to run on Garry's Mod, so if I ever get deeper into Lua i'll try to help.
