Closes itself while trying to update mods.
Sometimes when applying mod updates, the app just drops out. No explanation, no error message, just closes as if I clicked on the X. Can't tell if it actually downloaded the updates or applied them but when I restart the app, no updates are needed. Does it quite frequently.
Please attach a debug zip
And where do I find the debug log file? There is no option in the app to generate a debug file or export a debug file. Debug log file is not located in the app folder C:\Users\wncol\AppData\Local\Programs\Satisfactory Mod Manager

Ok, Found it. Disregard previous email on where is debug file. Debug file attached.
The app crashes (no message just closes) frequently during downloading or updating just about any mods. Easily tested. Just pick a bunch of mods and download/update then and watch it close.

This happens to me only (not always, but very frequently) when the mod that's being installed, disabled, or enabled is selected at time of operation. Assuming this is the same bug, of course.
I believe it may be the same bug.
@WarrenCol I don't think GitHub handles attachments sent via email. Please upload it at https://github.com/satisfactorymodding/SatisfactoryModManager/issues/281 if the bug is still affecting you
Confirmed still happening to me as well on 3.0.3.0 Windows 11 x64.
Crashes to desktop with updating mods, turning off and back on the mods, and/or importing/adding a mod backup file.
Steam satisfactory
Doesn't matter if SMM is run as admin or not.
Installed for all users as admin - Attempting uninstallation and reinstallation as single user instance.....
Failed. Still exhibiting behaviour.
Attempting uninstallation of 3.0.3.0 and installation of 3.0.2.0
NEW BEHAVIOUR NOTICED: When completing first run Windows UAC comes up on previous installation to complete a task, closes the currently opened SMM, then reopens the application.
STILL Crashes to desktop, however when disabling and re-enabling mods.
Debug file: Attached.
SMMDebug-2025-11-08-19-02-37.zip
NOTE: Potential issue is with saved "Profile". I backed up my profile to a new profile, deleted the old profiles and then attempted import again - now it's successfully downloading the mods as expected.
