[Enhance] Disruptive Browsing Gallery

Is there anyway that I can change it so that when I'm viewing a gallery and clicking next on an image it doesn't reload the page and shoot me to the top? It would be nice to have it just click through the images in place. Shooting me to the top is very disruptive to browsing a gallery. Maybe via ajax?
