Confirm type-ahead suggestion with <Enter>

When typing an @mention I get a type-ahead suggestion box like in the following screenshot:

When the box offers multiple suggestions, I can select one with the arrow keys ↑ and ↓, but I can't confirm one with Enter, only by clicking on it.

Please make me confirm a type-ahead suggestion with the Enter key.
