Support for CLion 2022.1 EAP and Docker toolchain

Open cip123 opened this issue 3 years ago • 5 comments

Hello, I am trying to run a CMake Fortran project using the CLion Docker toolchain.

Unfortunately, the way our project is structured (CMakeFile.txt not being in the root folder), we can't use the current CLion version (2021.3) since it doesn't specify the volume bindings required for this scenario.

The volume binding configuration is present in CLion EAP, but this plugin will not work anymore (Incompatible: requires IDEA build 213.* or earlier).

So, I have a couple of questions:

  1. Is there any way to make this plugin work with EAP on my local machine?
  2. Do you know if I can debug the project using this plugin and the Docker toolchain?

Thanks.

After updating to CLion 2022.1, the plugin no longer works. Error message: "Incompatible: requires IDE build 212.* or earlier"

It's necessary to update until-build attribute in the src/main/resources/META-INF/plugin.xml file and publish new jar. I hope developers will done it soon (but to be sure, let me mention @satamas here).

I've published a plugin update for the latest IDE, sorry for the delay. Regarding the Docker toolchain I don't know, will take a look next week

This plugin works for me with docker toolchain. @cip123 @ompedersen can you confirm, and if so can this issue be closed?
