Birthday appears twice in the calendar

Every birthday appears twice in the calendar (see screenshots), while it does not necessarily appear twice in the "Birthday tab" (most entries do appear twice even in the Birthday tab).

Birthday adapter does not have those issues

Happens also for me. It was not caused by another birthday app. For debug purposes or expert use, og'ffer an option the show on.the details of a birthday what the source is so issue likes can be investigated more easily.
