Detect close?

Hi, i need to detect when the close button is pressed. I can't see this is possible?

On Android the screen allows rotate even when Ionic config says portrait. But in iOS no rotating is allowed. I need to before photo is viewed unlock ability to rotate screen, then on close of image return orientation to the previous.

Any help?
