[ibus-avro] Not working in Kubuntu 15.04

Open digital-idiot opened this issue 9 years ago • 4 comments

First I installed ibus-avro from the PPA, it did not work. Then I removed avro and the corresponding PPA. I compiled ibus-avro from github source and installed it as instructed but it did not work either. Any help?

It did not work. Like before, after installation I could not find 'Bengali' in iBus 'Input Method' settings.

May be once you can try installing all ibus package by command apt-get install ibus* This helped me.

Installing all the ibus packages was not a very good idea, though I tried it. It shows following package conflicts,

The following packages have unmet dependencies: libunique-3.0-doc : Conflicts: libunique-doc but 1.1.6-5 is to be installed libunity-scopes-json-def-desktop : Conflicts: unity-scopes-json-def Conflicts: unity-scopes-json-def:i386 libunity-scopes-json-def-phone : Conflicts: unity-scopes-json-def Conflicts: unity-scopes-json-def:i386
