Templates/module designer menu is not displayed
Hi all, I have just installed module designer successfully but unfortunately I don't have the "module designer" menu displayed under the templates menu. In other words, when and click on templates, I have only one menu (company details). any Idea ...? Thx.
Hi,
How did you installed Module Designer, through ModuleManager or copying files onto server ?

Hi, I did it from the Module Manager :-( Should I copy the src files?
No, it is the good way. Try to install it again...

I did several times without any success. attached printscreens

I don't know if this information can help for debugging: the first times (5 or 6) I tried to install it, the installation fails because www wans't the owner of vtigercmr folder. Then, I have changed the owner to www and installation went perfectly (as shown in the printscreen) but the menu wasn't displayed.
... I continue debugging the system and I figured out that http://localhost/vtigercrm/index.php?module=ModuleDesigner&view=Index&parent=Settings displays the creation form. I will try to create a new module and test if it works...
well, the module designer is working perfectly when I access to it from the url http://localhost/vtigercrm/index.php?module=ModuleDesigner&view=Index&parent=Settings. I have created the cutomer's group example. The only problem is that the menu under templates is not displaying...
Hi, I'll try to dig into that.
Hy,
In most cases this belong to modules, which create a settings field without increase the sequence ID. I couldn't read the labels on the configuration blogs from your screenshot, but I think this are more as in vanilla vtigercrm.
Maybe not ModuleDesigner is the problem. :)

hi swarnat, you can click on the attached images to display them in their original size. FYI, I have alreay installed other modules and I can see them in the global menu (All). Is the missing label is extracted from the database? if yes, which table? thx.
Hi,
I have installed through copying the files. I can't see the Module Designer in the Template section
