Installation on Win11 using CLEAN install of WSL broke at EXPORT - export CUDA_HOME=/usr/local/cuda-12.6
Uninstall of Ubuntu 22.04 in WSL on Win11, then reinstall. HRM quickstart broke at export CUDA_HOME=/usr/local/cuda-12.6 (I'm not a Linux guru, and I don't know why the export didn't work, but I got the message "environment is externally managed" every time I tried to run pip3 afterward. My solution was to install pipx, which doesn't care whether environment is externally managed.
i reccomend setting up a venv, fixed the problem for me

Sorry, I tried using a venv, still broke at setting "export CUDA_HOME=/usr/local/cuda-12.6" because next invocation of pip3: "environment is externally managed" every time I tried to run pip3 afterward.
