Adjustments for new Obsidian 1.0 needed?

As laid out in the theme migration guide for Obsidian 1.0 there have been many new changes for how themes are handled in Obsidian 1.0.

Does theme needs to be adapted in this regard? I saw that the last commit is from 2021.

For me it still seems to work. Still I wanted to raise the question.
