ERROR: Failed building wheel for pycodec2

I am getting this error

#include "codec2/codec2.h" ^~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ compilation terminated. error: command '/home/deepesh/anaconda3/bin/x86_64-conda_cos6-linux-gnu-cc' failed with exit status 1

Please help me with this.

I have faced the same issue, while trying to install pycodec2. Installing pycodec2-old solved my issue See here #87
