Automation and Triggers
First of all: Thanks a ton for this integration. This is highly appreciated :-)
I have now succeeded in installing the integration but when I try to add automations I can not add a trigger (e.g. when a light bulb is turned on). The trigger field is greyed out (unavailable). What am I missing or doing wrong?
The only way i found out seeing if a light bulb is turned off or on in an automation is looking at the entity value. Then select brightness. Set it so it starts at 0 and just leave the end value blank. I dont have an solution for the light switches and sensors either tho. It should look like this: https://ibb.co/Q7QwR8MX
I have found, that some triggers do not work, when the entity is selected directly. Then I first had to pick the device, then only the selection showed for the entities of this device, and after chosing the entitiy of choice, the correct properties only could be selected
can you please dump the json for me and also enable debug logs. Ideally it processed events as soon as they are recieved from the hub
First of all I want to thank you for this great integration! I am new to Home Assistant and I am trying to set up some automations so that I receive a message on my phone when a door opens or when there is a leak. As far as I understand, for an automation you need a trigger to start.
Is it possible to add triggers for the "PARASOLL Door/Window Sensors" and "BADRING Water Leak Detection Sensors" when the status changes (from closed to open or from dry to wet), please ?
Well, this is a question more common in the home assistant forum. And, of course, there are some automation solutions for door/window sensors in combination with others. One classic automation is to close heating valves, which I use with my PARASOLL sensors. This is, what I have realized several times. There is a nice example for my automation at https://community.home-assistant.io/t/window-open-climate-off/257293
