Now that app dir is out of beta, are there any plans to update this template? Thanks!

We'll update to app-router after https://github.com/sanity-io/client/pull/249 lands 😄

The template has been updated quite and has changed a lot since this issue was created. The new template is now running Next 15 (app dir). You can deploy the template with a CLI command that is pretty slick 🙌

npm create sanity@latest -- --template sanity-io/sanity-template-nextjs-clean
