Inconsistency amidst Preview and actual screensaver

I use two ultra-wide monitors and I have noticed that in both the 1.6.2 the 2.0.0-beta-5 versions of Flux that the settings window renders the screensaver differently despite the beta having an adjustable preview. I have attached two screenshots showing 1) the rendered preview under "settings" from 2.0.0-beta-5 2) the actual screensaver.

You can see that there is a noticeable difference in several ways, most notably the line width.

I am curious, and this is just speculation, but is it possible that there is some inconsistency due to the different aspect ratios of my monitor (eg my 21:9 vs standard 16:9)? It may also be worth noting all settings are set to default and that it is spanning across two monitors.
