@MichaelBrim Okay, it makes sense. I just felt it might not be straightforward because it doesn't follow the typical/conventional expectation from mountpoint.

Also, it doesn't check if the malloc(3) was successful. In fact, in many places, the return value of malloc(3) is not verified. Probably we need to open a new issue...

I also think it's a good idea, as long as it's not becoming an overkill.
