in 2.2.1 status bar is fixed by the content and it's state is not persistent. in 2.2.2-alpha - (https://github.com/LibreCAD/LibreCAD/releases/tag/2.2.2_alpha-latest) the statusbar's state is persistent, and it it possible to "dissolve"...
