Batch Editing works throws error

Descriptive summary

Attempting to batch edit single or multiple works throws an error. Tested on works that can be edited successfully from work page.

Steps to reproduce

1. Go to works
2. Select multiple
3. Click "Edit"

Expected behavior

The expected behavior / design of the batch edit works functionality is not clear.

Actual behavior

An error screen appears

Suggested Fix

Because the featureset has become complex to enable and maintain, we propose limiting / reducing the scope of batch editing to only permissions of the selected works. This can be done agnostic of work type and metadata configuration, making the feature valuable to most common use cases, without introducing additional validation logic, complex UI, and maintenance and testing issues.

@SixtyGrit I followed these steps and did not experience the error on pg.nurax.samvera.org

I added values for Date Created and Publisher to:
