In testing for the Hyrax 3.0 release, the following points are actions that were discovered during a FireFox tab test and axe accessibility audit. Note, only certain issues are being reported at this time.
ARIA role must be appropriate for the element
Ensures landmarks are unique
Steps to reproduce the axe accessibility audit
- Install the Axe plugin or addon from Deque (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/axe-devtools/ is the firefox version).
- Open https://nurax-dev.curationexperts.com/proxies?locale=en
- Open the inspector (right-click, and select "Inspect element")
- Click on the 'Axe' tab
- Click 'Analyze'
In Hyrax 5.0.0.rc2, the issues identified in the first and third screenshots have been corrected ("ARIA role must be appropriate for the element" for breadcrumb
and "ensures landmarks are unique")
The problem in the second screenshot is still present: "ARIA role must be appropriate for the element" for #s2id_autogen1
