Still get message about defer.js after adding treenew option

I have added the treenew option to my configuration:-

plugin»indexmenu»defaultoptions

But I still get the pink error message about indexmenu needing to disable the defer.js setting.

Is there something else I need to reset or configure?

The rewrite to treenew is not finished yet. So also the (too) simple check on deferjs is still there, see https://github.com/samuelet/indexmenu/blob/edd4ab643d502a262a5690546e75aeeb6ea69187/syntax/indexmenu.php#L437
