Not working with recent Electron versions

Hi. This doesn't seem to be working with recent Electron versions (like 26). I suppose this has to do with recent security enhancements, but I wonder if someone has a workaround. On Mac it shows an error because of lack of sudo privileges, on Windows it fails silently.
