Is there a way to have the blue light off on boot

Hi,

Is there any way to have the blue light be turned off by default on boot? At the moment the switch flicks back when the camera is rebooted..

As a side note, what's the best way to schedule a reboot of the camera? Crontab doesn't appear to want to open..
