Add an option to exclude directories (and possibly files by extentions)

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. Hello, I ~just started using the program and I added almost every folder in the userspace to be indexed. Some folders though, like Unity projects, have tens of thousands of tiny files which slow down the indexing process by a lot. (3 beginner unity projects constituted about one forth of the total indexed files...)

Describe the solution you'd like What could be really useful would be to do exclude directories, so as to prevent unecessary indexing. This could either be an plugin or in the core of the program.

Additional context And while we're at it, it would also be nice to be able to exclude files by extention (or if you want to expand this, we could have the option to exclude files based on properties, like size or date modified etc.)

The depth limit the app doesn't help much, because even if I spent a really lot of time adding all the other folders apart from one, inside a foldler I want (like the documents folder) , still the files that are directly under the root folder wouldn't be included.

I've an ssd so it may take around 20 minutes to index my ~1tb drive, but on an hdd it could cause serious slow downs.
