@pothos one more issue pointed in upstream ticket: 1. Flatcar is not reporting _exact_ systemd version 2. It is also not using latest stable from it, e.g. it is now...

jfyi - was able to reproduce also on 247.6 and local (non-ec2) install. So it seems that this is impacting _every_ user. May be its good idea to revert it...

@pothos problem is that i cant reproduce that on other OS. E.g. fedora or alpine. Even in chroot to the flatcar sdk.

It seems that in upstream work stalled despite the fact that i was able to reproduce it...

@pothos any chance to get it fixed? Bug is very easy to reproduce and affects every installation.
