Better systray icon needed

The current systray icon does not integrate nicely with the rest of the desktop:

Maybe we should completely rethink the icon? We could use the composing character for instance:

We should allow users to choose between several set of icons maybe. I prefer the current icon personally :)

I like "diamond key". Reminds me of my old Sun keyboard.

Good catch! The Sun keyboards are exactly why I chose that icon initially, even if it wasn’t really the compose key:

It’s been 4 years, so unless someone commits to designing a new one, the icon is probably here to stay 😄

I would really prefer a more native look. Guess the only relevant icons can be found under src/res?

Tossing in my two cents, I think that modern programs and apps tend not to use the hollow white outline theme that much. For instance, this icon fits perfectly with my other system tray icons which have apps like Spotify, Discord, ShareX, and Steam, among others. Even my hidden icons follow a similar style.
