Inaccessible CJK symbols

Open JapanYoshi opened this issue 4 years ago • 2 comments

The sequences for U+3280 (circled ideograph one) through U+32B0 (circled ideograph night) are all inaccessible. Ideographs do not have individual keys. (If they did, Japanese and Chinese keyboards would be absolutely massive!) They must be converted into.

However, WinCompose doesn't let the user use the Chinese or Japanese input method while entering a sequence. So there is no way to enter a "circled ideograph nine" or "circled ideograph stock" for example without using the Unicode code point.

Please remove or change these sequences.

As a side note, all the "circled katakana" symbols are also inaccessible. Kana input exists, but first of all, WinCompose doesn't let the keystrokes pass through to the IME for them to be converted into hiragana or katakana, and second of all, kana input is severely outdated on PC.
