How to migrate from simple docker-compose.yml to the swarm version with registry?

Hello.

I'm trying to migrate the GitLab session I was using locally to a server, and this time I want to make it more "production-like". The restored backup gives some error about not finding anything about the registry configuration. What steps should I take to add the registry to this mix?
