New maintainer wanted
As you can tell, I haven't directly done anything for this project in years. It has potential, but I've moved on to other projects. I don't want to keep holding the crate names on crates.io for something incomplete.
This applies to xplm and xplm-sys, which should have been in the same repository.
I'll transfer ownership to the first person who asks and has a GitHub account with non-zero development history in Rust.
Hey there,
first of all, thanks for all the great work you have put into this library. I've actually poked around in it a few years back, trying to integrate the egui library. Was a lot of fun, but I never had motivation to finish it, mainly because I never had any plugin idea that would make use of it.
With that said, I'd be happy to take over the ownership of the xplm crate and at least maintain it from time to time, merge pull requests and maybe update it to XPLM400. In case there is someone more motivated around though, I'd be happy for them to take ownership.
OK, I invited you to become an owner of the crates on crates.io . I'll see if I can give you permissions to modify these repositories, or I can transfer them to your GitHub account.
I think it would probably be the easiest to transfer them to my GitHub account, so I can modify the repository settings in the future if need be.
Attempting to transfer shows an error: "mkreu already has a repository in the samcrow/rust-xplm network" . You may have to delete your fork first.
ah well, try again now
Thanks for everything Sam! And thanks Michael for stepping up!
