Brightness setting for "avg screen color" effect

It would be nice to have a max. brightness limit for the "avg screen color" effect. Now it seems a bit too "flashy" in a dark room so dimming option would be nice.

Actually I would like to see the opposite. Have a min brightness slider so when you're watching a movie scene and it's mainly dark and you're using avg screen color, all the lights turn off and only turn on after the set threshold is met.
