I understand your request, but it's worth using ShareX for screenshots. There are many functions there, but the most important one for me is binding the active area to the window where your cursor is. Just press the keyboard shortcut and click on your virtual screen. A screenshot of this virtual screen will be created.

The first thing I do after installing Windows is install ShareX, and I suffer on Linux due to its absence.
