Hi,

is it planned to integrate chromecast support in the future?

Would be nice, but:

"Google Cast supports sender applications written for the Android, iOS, and Chrome platforms." https://developers.google.com/cast/docs/sender_apps

And even for Chrome, I think Chromecast support is something that needs to be built into the soundcloud.com web application itself.

One comment here... hoping to reopen, as soundcloud.com now supports Chromecast! I'm able to see the Chromecast icon right next to the volume control from within the Soundcloud.com player.

By the way, I love Soundcleod. Thank you so much for providing it!

@lconnolly thanks for the update! Definitely worth reopening. As I neither have time nor a Chromecast device to implement and test this, contributions would be very welcome!

Looks like there is already a support module: https://github.com/GPMDP/electron-chromecast
