Support for custom CSS or custom stylesheet

I see there was a request for Greasemonkey scripts before, but I'm wondering if supporting custom CSS or a custom stylesheet would be simpler to implement? My biggest motivation is getting rid of the annoying in-house ad on the top right column:

I'm not going to go Pro; I'd just assume have that real estate dedicated to something more useful: nothing!

+1 I'd love to have this feature, mainly so I can implement a dark theme or adjust the layout here and there.
