APK file at releases?
Congrats to the release! Could you please also make the APK file(s) available there? Then I could check whether I can include your app with my F-Droid repo to make it easier to find (and update). Thanks in advance!
you just need APK ? or AAB @IzzySoft
APK. fdroidserver cannot process AAB.
marofy app.zip check this file @IzzySoft
Can you add it to the releases (starting with the current one suffices)? My updater needs a place to fetch it from when you make a new release. And please attach it there as *.apk
, not *.zip
(yes, you can)
But oof. I just sent the APK through my library scanner:
Offending libs:
---------------
* Google Ads (/com/google/ads): Ads,NonFreeDep
* Google Mobile Services (/com/google/android/gms): NonFreeDep
2 offenders.
So it's not FOSS  A budget app deals with sensitive information, it should not have any proprietary libraries hence – especially not those. This combination does not meet the inclusion criteria for the repo, sorry. But maybe you could make a (foss
) build flavor without those? I gladly check that again then – and if it passes, add it to the repo as indicated. Thanks in advance!
@salmanA169 just wondering: do you plan to address this? No offense meant, but if not I can stop watching here.
yes but I am so busy for now after I update my app I will contact you
@IzzySoft Hi how are you now I want publish my app to fdroid what should I do for now
I'm currently not active at F-Droid – but I can of course give you some pointers. A good (and hopefully easy to read) starting point would be: Quick path to get your app into F-Droid. A few more details can be found in my blog article on the process of integrating an app with F-Droid.
If you were thinking about adding it to my repo, I'd just need the APK file attached at releases, as outlined above. The process with that is much shorter and easier. And doesn't stop you from moving on to F-Droid.org afterwards
