Forecasting using past and / or future external data

As mentioned in title, is it possible to forecast using future external data?

This is a feature we are considering to add in a future version of Merlion. Would you mind elaborating on exactly how you'd like to use this future external data?

For example: if I would like to forecast a solar panel energy production I (maybe) would use past energy data, past temperature data, ... but almost surely future wheather forecast (solar irradiation, cloud cover, temperature ...) for the prediction horizon. Would be fantastic if I could fit this type of past and future data / regressor in a single model.
