Products in cart get auto-removed when decrementing the quantity from 1

What I'm trying to achieve

I'm trying to select a minimum allowed quantity (1) of a product I accidentally ordered too many of.

Steps to reproduce the problem

1. Add product to basket
2. Decrement by clicking "-" button

What I expected to happen

I expect the product quantity to stay locked at 1 as the minimal value and use the remove button to actually clear the product off the cart if needed.
