Since Angular uses semver, angular-2 prefix is an now against to what Angular team does. And they advised it just to call it "Angular". Igor Minar talks about this on this video NG-BE 2016 - Igor Minar - Opening Keynote - Angular 4 Announcement.

This is a somewhat suggestion for the library.
