Add compact view

I like this idea. I toyed around with it a little. I can hide/show side panel by giving its grid a name, and I can hide/show the menu too. Fitting the window to contents is easy too, the only problem is when they are hidden, the window must be unresizable, or it looks ugly when resized.

And I can't make the window resize with an aspect ratio. I tried that hard on a different project of mine some time ago, and I failed at that too. I guess the window managers in OSes override some resize events.

Edit: Of course, the window may be unresizable in compact mode. Not ideal, but doable.

Edit: I can do it BTW, if you'd like me to do.
