Theres another question that this raises then (probably for another issue). If you entered `3x+4)` into your keyboard, then pressed `/`, should the brackets be consumed?

I think this would be a very useful interface as well. Although you'd need to support implicit closing brackets. They'd get replaced as soon as the actual closing bracket gets...
