[FEATURE REQUEST] Setting: load all tasks closed

Open asitemade4u opened this issue 4 years ago • 3 comments

Currently, when opening TenHands or switching from a project to another, the tasks are "open", having the terminal window visible. As soon as a task has been developed and tested, this should not be the normal display. Instead, there should be a setting that forces the tasks to be displayed closed.

Please let me know if my understanding is correct,

  1. The tasks should expand/collapse automatically when they are started and stopped?
  2. Retain the terminal visibility status (if closed stay closed) between TH opens and closes ?

  1. Not really, but also a good idea. What I meant is: being able to decide whether ALL tasks should be displayed either open or closed when the application is opened or when the project is changed.
  2. Not really: same as above.

I think the second option @saisandeepvaddi presented meets the need described above and would be very helpful. If you wanted all tasks to be open or closed for a project or for the application, you just need to make sure that each task is opened or closed based on what you want.

Adding a button to expand or collapse all tasks would also be helpful here. Then if you wanted a project to open with all tasks expanded, you would just load the project and click the expand all button. From then on whenever you opened the project all tasks would be expanded
