How to set display number of the VNC session?

When I connect to my vncserver with vncviewer, I need to provide the SERVERNAME:DISPLAY, together with my password. In the command line option of vnc-recorder, if I give --host option my SERVERNAME:DISPLAY, it says too many colons; if I give only SERVERNAME, it says "connection refused"

How can I add the display number to the vnc-recorder command options?

Try to put "SERVERNAME:DISPLAY" within quotes.
