Restarting ngfd daemon when applied patch

Open ghost opened this issue 7 years ago • 5 comments

Hi, I wrote small patch for disabling ringtone repeting (https://coderus.openrepos.net/pm2/project/ringonce) but it needs systemctl-user restart ngfd command to be run after patch applied.

Just wanted to ask which category to use?

Thanks, qeef

I have another suggestion. Would it be possible to specify command to run after patch applied? Use case - I have a script that I run periodically by systemd timer. Would be awesome to write a patch that add script and service and timer units and specify the command that restarts systemd and start the timer.

of course no, commands will start with root privileges, it will be huge security flaw.

Thought so, just wanted to be sure. I guess that this is the reason for categories.
