Running balance on statements does not take into account cutoff properly

The balance at cutoff when viewing statements should be the last balance shown on the top line. Instead the top line shows zero and then the bottom one shows the cutoff balance with opposite sign. This is what a user sees starting from the first/oldest statement: since the oldest one only has one charge, the balance after it becomes negative, not zero. The next statement starts neither with 0 nor 226, but 39, which is the cutoff balance of the second statement. Note that the list of all transactions, without breaking down into statements, is correct.
