Connection Issue
I am having this issue for months now, reinstalled both portmaster and the program which has connection issues. Let me explain, the game CSGO works fine also with online mode, expect there is a setting ingame called community servers. When i klick that, normally CSGO will show a list of community servers but now it doesn't. This happened after installing portmaster and since then hasn't been fixed.
Normally i would do the same as i do with any other program if this issues come up, i will open portmaster and allow network access for CSGO by setting the rule to allow, then i will individually check all inbound and outbound connections and make sure nothing is shown with a red light to make sure no connection is blocked. So that's what i did with CSGO aswell, network access is allowed and no connection is blocked, however as i said community servers are not showing up at all. How can i fix this? Can someone from the devs reproduce this to figure out the problem?
When i klick on community servers in csgo the game says "no community servers responded to the request". I know for sure that many servers are only as other people confirmed this. Im thinking this is a problem with outbound connections then? But again how do i fix this i can't see anything in portmaster.
If PM isn't blocking any connections then the problem must be different. Does it work after you shutdown the portmaster?
Sorry for this awkwardly late response, i remember this issue was caused on my own, i blocked the network access for "System" with simplewall and that was the reason i could play online but not on community servers. csgo is the only game where i had this issue, don't know why it needs system.
