todoist sync fails to get/update dates for tasks changed using google calendar integration

What I did:

todoist sync  # runs with no errors
todoist list

I am not entirely sure the issue is because of the google calendar integration but from my observations, any tasks whose due time was changed in the calendar does not have any assigned due date when I run todoist list (It works fine with todoist web and mobile apps). Do you have any idea what might be happening?
