ignore/disable "Activate Ditto" keyboard shortcut in certain apps

Hi

I am a Ditto user since 2015. Here is my challenge.

  • I use Ditto on my PC.
  • From the PC, I access a virtual desktop via Citrix Workspace app (wfica32.exe).
  • From the Citrix desktop, I access a remote desktop via RDP (mstsc.exe).

In each of these environments, I use a separate instance of Ditto. Reason for this: when I hit my PC's "Activate Ditto" hotkey while in Citrix, the Ditto window is always displayed behind the Citrix window. I have to press escape in order to deactivate that hidden window.

For the same reason, in each of the environments, I have to set up separate "Activate Ditto" keyboard shortcuts. This is the problem because my muscle memory makes me hit my usual PC shortcut instead of the Citrix one.

I would like to have an option to not activate Ditto in certain apps ("ignored apps"). Then my Ditto setup across the 3 environments would look as follows:

  • Ditto on my PC: ignored app = wfica32.exe
  • Ditto on Citrix: Ditto ignored app: mstsc.exe

I am aware that Ditto supports per-app custom key strokes via Registry or Settings file. However, these keystrokes are only for cut/paste and not for "Activate Ditto". Therefore, at the moment I cannot find a workaround and still have to use 3 separate keyboard shortcuts.
