Paste Images as png/jpg

Is it possible to paste copied images/screenshots as png or jpeg files currently?

I found the Quick Paste Keyboard option for Export To Image File but for it to work, it seems like you have to have Ditto open with the relevant image selected. Then when you type the shortcut it opens the prompt for where and how to save the file. This is too many steps. I'd like to simply paste the most recent image in the clipboard in the current directory as a png/jpg file similar to how things work when you drag and drop an image from Ditto into a folder. Does this exist?

Note, on mac I use Copy 'Em which does this nicely.
