Keyboard shortcut to access the menu?

Open andrewakl opened this issue 5 years ago • 6 comments

After I activate Ditto with the global hotkey, I don't see a way to access the menu (the "..." at the bottom, next to the search box) without having to use the mouse.

I tried the tab key, but that just toggles between the clips and the search box.

Are there any plans to add a keyboard shortcut to access the menu (maybe Ctrl + . ) ?

2nd this. In the older version I was using before, the default behavior was to open the menu, then you could press 1,2,3, etc. to paste the 1st, 2nd, 3rd entries on the menu. But now, it just searches the menu entries.

Please. I need a global hotkey to open the Ditto settings, it would be very useful.

Hallo, habe die neuste Version installiert. Das Symbol ist auf der Taskleiste. Mir gelingt es weder das Ditto-Fenster auf dem Desktop erscheinen zu lassen noch auf die Optionen" zuzugreifen. Was muss ich tun?

I would also like a hotkey to open the options menu? I hate using the mouse. Thanks

@andrewakl: This is an ITS, not a discussion forum.

@sabrogden appears to be referring to the menu key.

Since 03.23.184, this is possible thanks to the "Show System Context Menu" shortcut. By default, that shortcut is Ctrl+≣ Menu. I find that label confusing. "Show global menu" would be much clearer.
