auto paste doesn't work
on selection of existing item within ditto (3.24.214.0 x64 on windows 10 build 19044.1466) list it's not pasted automatically into previously focused field. except very rare cases - i could not find any dependencies of those. but before it auto pastes it asks for escalation. and even after that it's not always pasted. in some previous versions it worked as intended - i did a few checks with fresh windows 10. "paste clip in active window after selection=true" and global hotkeys->send paste is checked. please correct.
Try changing the setting "Activate window delay" in options - general advanced. Set to 250 or 500. This is the amount of time between activating the window and sending the paste.
hi! did not help. it worked at the very first time but after that - nothing.

Does the clip paste if you manually press ctrl-v after it does not auto paste? Does the app you are pasting into accept ctrl-v to paste? Try this in notepad as a basic test.

fyi: new behavior noted - from time to time after clicking on ditto item it's got pasted into wrong application. let me remind - some versions ago the issue was not observed.

one more thing: it does paste only the first time after exit from ditto (tray -> rmb on the icon -> exit) and start it again. on list item click it asks for escalation and then get it pasted. and that's all - no more paste after that.

a new behaviour: from time to time - when i click the item in ditto it gets pasted into the same wrong app (often - telegram) which is currently in background but is being used periodically and often than the other. it continues until i close the app and re-launch it. or even reboot.
