Ditto copied to clipboard

Can Ditto count the number of words upon copying? This would be an extremely useful feature for all writers, designers, translators etc.

Would be great to have the word count information in clip properties or even better when you hover over the clip with a mouse.

I suggest to add this info to the bottom part of 'View Full Description' view (F3). Additionally I suggest to show the length (i.e. character count) of the clip, too.

WORD count please, not just character count. Word count is important for everybody who gets paid based on the word count.

What's the standard way to count words, do single or two letter words count towards the total?

Logging into GitHub after a long long while just to +1 this. I want to say "I really need this in Ditto", but I don't. I can copy, go into wordcounter.net, paste, look at the WC, delete the text, and close wordcounter.net. But I really shouldn't have to, with Ditto. So I'll say: I would really love this in Ditto.

Update: I just dug a little deeper and found out that this feature is already in Ditto as per version 3.24.214.0 (09-10-2021).

Just right-click on the Clip > View Full Description. It will be on the bottom bar of the window that opens. (Alternatively, press F3 when Clip is highlighted.)

Thanks for adding, and I guess this issue can be marked as Resolved.
