Feature Request: set as global hotkey
If I need to paste pure txt, I need to firstly open ditto(a global hotkey) and press another hotkey to paste pure txt. Could hotkey that paste pure txt and so on can set as global hotkey so that the operation is only press one global hotkey?
Hi, for pure text, seems that 'Keyboard Shortcuts' 'Text Only Paste' already do that.
But should be great to be able to activate shortcut globally on 'quick paste keyboard' for some script for example.
The detail explaination of previous sentences. When I copy the text in the article and put them into the translation software, as the article is needed to clear the format, I use the ditto function “clear text format”(e.g. delete line). So I need to firstly open the ditto(Ctrl+Alt+Z), and then "clear text format"(Ctrl+Alt+Y). It's better that set "clear text format" as global key.
There is some ways that set keyboard shortcuts for running some executable file, but they can't work well(has some problems when using it) or quite troublesome.
Yes it is exactly my experience.
Hope that idea can be implemented !
So is the 'clear text format' different from "Text Only Paste'`? What is 'clear text format' doing differently?
clear text format: clear e.g. '\n' text only paste: can't paste image I’m not sure.
@congmingyige: Which version does this affect? If this persists in current versions, please clarify what "clear text format" is. Is it different from "Remove Line Feeds"? Ticket #64 already tracks the issue with Remove Line Feeds.
